Travelling within the Maldives itself offers excitement as there are many options. You have inter-island air fleet that provide the most spectacular view of the country from the sky while providing a comfortable ride to your destination. This has been a more innovative approach, where the seaplanes fly out from the airport transporting passengers to resorts to the north south and east of the capital and landing at pontoons conveniently located in the atolls, giving quick and easy access to resorts. In the airport, a specialized seaplane zone is located on the eastern side. This is the home to the largest seaplane fleet in the world.
